Sparkler exits have been around for years now, and I totally understand why! The soft glow of sparks sets the mood for some SUPER romantic photos that get me every time. That being said, sometimes a sparkler exit isn’t possible for a variety of reasons — maybe sparklers for all your guests just aren’t in the budget or maybe your photography coverage simply ends before your grand exit. If you would still love those sparkler photos (and I totally get it!) it’s actually pretty common to plan a faux exit OR simply sneak away with your love for some super romantic sparkler portraits. So, how does it work?
Faux Sparkler Exit – Before your photography coverage ends, we’ll take a few members of your bridal party and/or close family members outside and set up a faux sparkler exit. Similar to the real deal, but with less people (in photos you can’t even really tell!).The party never has to stop for the rest of your guests!
Bride & Groom Sparkler Portraits – Alternatively, if a faux exit just isn’t your jam, we can simply sneak outside with just you & your love and capture some intimate and sweet sparkler portraits once it gets dark. Not only are these photos romantic, it’s can also be so nice to step away and take a few quiet minutes together to soak in that newlywed bliss before the night ends. In most cases, the guests will be so busy dancing and celebrating they won’t even notice the bride & groom have slipped away for a few minutes!
Here’s a sneak peek from Lindsey & Taylor’s eclectic wedding at Waldo’s Secret Garden. Although their photography coverage ended before their formal exit, I’m SO happy we squeezed in some sweet sparkler portraits. Totally worth it in my opinion! ;)
